I was thinking of looking for something of the same type of material as CareFresh to use for Bunny's bedding (not litter), but that I could get for a better price. Anyone know of anything?

Thanks guys! :D

For my mice, I use Pet's Preference, Critter Litter & Bedding. It's recycled paper pulp, but the consistancy is much finer than CareFresh. The only place I've found it is at our locally-owned pet shop. I pay $12 for 30 liters of it, which seems to be a lot more economical than CareFresh.

I use the "soft texture" variety.

I don't know if this is ok or not, my bet is you wouldn't recommend it, but I have 5 gerbils that tear newspaper and paper boxesup in small shreds. It works great and is free. When I am out of that, I use paper pellets for cats (cheaper) or aspen.

aspen litter is safe for bunnies and cheaper than care-fresh so that is an option. I have so many buns that I use wood pellets for horse bedding (very cheap)
