Hi! Well, some of you might know that Pepsi doesn'thandle any sort of stress at all. Her nails are getting grossly long, so I think it's time to cut them. Last time I cut her nails(No bleeding, minimum struggling) sheate little for a few days, which stresses me out because I'm a worry wart! I'm just wondering how I shoulddo this. I wouldn't be surprised ifher appetite decreased afterwards, so I'm wondering if I should give her some vegetables and some oats before I take her out? I tried having her stand up against the wire with a treat so her nails stick out and cut, but I have to be very quickbecause she usually pulls it away. It worked ok with her front nails, but I'll have to take her out for her backpaws.

:sigh I have no problem handling her and cutting her nails, she just gets so worked up.

I know how you feel. I dread doing mine, too. The more you do it, the easier it gets, on you AND the rabbits.

Hopefully, she won't stress out as much this time because she knows what to expect.

Can you get someone else to hold her while you trim? That's how I have to do the girls.

I think I can get mymom to help me when she comes home from work. I'll have to see. I'm scared to death, because I don't want her to go off eating, tehn maybe go into statis.. and ahh!

So stressful that girl! I'll be sure to have some piccys of her in her cute towel and running around my room though! :D

Ok well, I tried to pick her up from the cage- that didn't work. She's fine if she comes down her ramp (She doesn't doit when I'm in the room, and now that Pebbles is on the floor I don't want the two in contact with each other unless I'm in the room).

She trusts me, she just doesn't like to not have her feet on the ground. I first tried to pick her up normally (hand firmly holding chest with ears under my thumb and other hand holding her rump), nope she struggled andran down her ramp. I waited a second, opened the door to the bottem floor, back up the ramp she went (She plays this game when she doesn't want me to be in her cage). I then tried to pick her up by putting an old shirt around her, it worked butwhen I was getting her out the door, shekicked theshirt loose.Idon't want to give her a heart attack trying to pick her up. Anybody have any ways to handle a very trickyrabbit to pick up? I've tried everything, but she always manages to wiggleloose and get away.

I guess no nail clipping today!
