I have not have adequate funds to fix Gizmo and I was maybe thinking about not altering him, would that be a bad thing for him, will he eventually grow out of some of the behaviors? Since we have built his run he has been much better with litter habits and hardly sprays unless I am there cleaning his cage for a long period of time, he seems fairly happy, he is always shaking his head and doing binkies:)

Neutering is really important for his emotional health. All of those hormones are going to make him think about mating 24/7 and he won't have any way to release those urges.

Also, any bad habits he has now likely won't go away - isntead they will get ingrained so that if you do decide to netuer him at a later date, it may not fix his issues if he's doing them out of habit.

It really is best for him if you get him neutered. It's certainly not cheap, but if you save up a little at a time you'll get there eventually and he'll be much happier for it.

That helps, I was really wondering about it because i had read that it was most important for females to get spayed due to uterine cancer but that there was little risk for cancer in males, although the behavior issues were most prominent with males. I really thought that maybe he would grow out of the behaviors as he gets out of the teenage faze. I agree that it would be worth saving for, I just hope i can get enough together on time to prevent any bad habits from forming permanently.
