Hi all! I'm fostering my very first rabbits. They were rescued at a boat launch along with a third, and they were named Gilligan, Ginger, and Mary Ann. Mary Ann has already been adopted, so Gilligan and Ginger are going to hang with me for a while.
Gilligan is a black and white Dutch, and he is a little less timid around people than his sister, but he doesn't venture far from his condo. He loves carrots and bananas, but doesn't seem like much of a fan of romaine. He'll headbutt and rub on my hand, and he's currently trying to decide whether or not he wants to climb into my lap when I sit on the floor with him.
Ginger is a mottled brown mini Rex (SO soft!!!), and she's much more timid when it comes to me, but she definitely has an adventurous spirit. After opening the pen door, it didn't take 10 minutes for her to explore the entirety of the kitchen and move on to the living room. (It took Gilly another day to venture into the living room!) Ging loves kale more than anything. I think she gives Gilly her bananas and carrots for his share of the kale! She's not as crazy about being petted, but if she's distracted, she'll allow it for a minute. I'm hoping that a few days will get her used to me so I can cuddle that fluff more!
