I just thought I would see how many are our there. Here (in TN) there are not a lot of breeders or owners. We are a rescue, but have a Spayed Giant Angora Girl named Rosie Bunny, and we LOVE all Giants! We are currently looking to add to our big white rabbits and looking at a Giant this weekend. I just want to see if anyone else owns or breeds them.

Haha Grooming Tips welcome!!!

I will post a picture of Rosie tomorrow, she is nice and clean (groomed) now!

I currently have 1 giant, but I used to have another a few months ago. I have only had one at a time though.

Sean
I rescued Sean from the Calgary Humane Society in Dec 2008. He did rabbit agility for a few months before be suddenly passed away in July. I am not 100% sure he was a giant, but I don't know what else he could have been.

Sweets
I get Sweets a few weeks ago for a breeder near Calgary. She is training to be an agility bun. She was born in June 2008, so is about 15 months old now. She is spayed (as per the breeders contact).

He looks like a giant for sure, and your girl is a pretty baby! Rosie has A LOT of face hair, just not around her nose, and has A LOT of Ear hair! The boy we are looking at has the same face hair. We keep Rosie's hair short on her body and long mane and face/ears, but we are letting her hair grow out right now though. She is just 16 mos old, the boy we are looking at is 2 years and then we found another girl close by that is just 12 weeks old. We will have any rabbit we add to our family fixed, as all our rabbits are, just makes it easier!

Sweets was sheered about 4 weeks ago, so she doens't quite look like an angora, but she is fluffy.

I think she is about 6 months in this pic. I can't wait to see her fur grow out. I hope she will have some more face fur and the ear tassells.

I want pics of yours. There are not enough pictures of Giant Angoras around. There are not enough giants either.
