Friday I took Pepsi out to get her nails doneall went well just a little anxious afterwards but I felt she hadcalmed down after a good prance around the living room.
I got her back in the cage later Friday and she flopped over (Idescribed this in my other two posts) and for an hour or so didn't eatanything. I figured it was from her being scared at having her nailstrimmed, but from Friday to Sunday she ate almost nothing and stayedquietly in her box for almost all of Saturday and Sunday. I putvegetables near her face, she took them at times.
Yesterday she ate a resonable amount of food. She'spooping/peeing/acting normal just the poops are a little ovalandjust a bit smaller then usual. She eatsvegetablesby herself and ate a large amount of celery lastnight. Should I still be worrying about GI statis?
Also, I've noticed (Not sure if this is a problem) but when she eatsthose thin stalky parts from the timothy hay, sometimes it take her afew chomps with her front teeth to bite it in two and by that time itfalls. Could she not have a good grip on her food? She also usuallyonly eats the thin grassy looking parts of the alfalfa and the seedparts if they are dipped in water. Does this soften them?
The vet did check her teeth and found nothing wrong with them about afew months ago when she wasn't acting normal, nothing to do with herteeth.
