I am so excited about getting a new bunny friend for Miffy but even more about getting one that we can show and do 4-H with. I wasn't sure before but I've been going through so many websites looking at holland lop breeders and seeing their bunnies and reading how much fun they have showing them and I am really just estatic and can't wait to start.

I think I'm more excited than my six year old heaven is lol. :)

I don't know what color or who from we will get our new hl doe or even when since I really want to take time to learn more about the breed and how to show. I am so excited though. Is this how everyone else felt the first time they were decided to start showing??:bunnydance::apollo::bunnyheart

I've read this breed is hard to raise? Not sure if it's true but I am ready for the challenge. :)

We've been talking about names since heaven got to name miffy (oh how we love that little bun) and we aren't sure yet lol since I have another little girl that gets to decide to but we are thinking since they really like cinderella maybe calling it Cinder? LOL. I thought it was cute. We will wait to get the bun first though but we are just so excited.. okay maybe mom is just really excited lol. ;-)

I am going to a fair in Trenton, Mo and in Gardner, KS and in Sedelia, MO this coming month and my sister (who is really starting to think about getting a rabbit to show herself) is going with me to check out the rabbit shows they are having. :) W are alsogoing to try to go the ARBA rabbit show they are having in MO the end of this month too!

Hehe! How neat! I've neer shown before. Make sure you post lots of pictures when you do get her! I dont' imagine hollands are any tougher to own then any other breed, but I could be wrong! :D

Good luck in picking out the bun and names! :D

We've had Hollands for 16 years. Most certainly one of the most difficult breeds to raise and also one of the most competitive breeds to show, but welove them :)
