Getting Devon in the travel kennel

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get Devon into his travel kennel?I would like to take him into the big pen downstairs, but he can't gettheir without the kennel because you have to go down two flights ofsteps and he hates being carried. Even food and toys don't lure him in.And I've heard that you shouldn't reach in the cage and pull them out.I also can't reach him if he stays in one particular corner because hehas a largeNIC cage. Anyone have any tips?

Lift him and stick him in buttfirst. Attempting to pull him out could injure hislegs -- let him come out on his own.
