Gas meds and babies?

Now instead of getting diarrhea in the mornings, Dora is really gassy. Can I give her simethicone, and how much? She's around 4 weeks old and weighs 110 grams.

I would I was giving it to one of my babies at 4 weeks he stopped eating s gave him some of ours just a litte bit though. maybe just cut your dosage down a little bit. Hope she is ok

Thanks Polly. She's feeling better again, which is normal because she only feels ill in the mornings. The vet said it had to do with her cecum as that's apparently when it is pushing out what should be normal cecals but is also the part most affected by the coccidia and the bacterial infection.

Maybe I'll give her just a drop tomorrow? I'm just very careful about what I give her because she is so sensitive and fragile.

Edit: Oh and she's finally the size of a golden hamster instead of a dwarf hamster. Woot! I wonder how small she'll be as an adult.
