Hi! I'm 22 years old and getting ready to welcome a new friend into my life :)
I currently don't have any pets, ever since I moved to New York 3 years ago my apartments haven't allowed pets until now! I've done my research and created a budget and found a vet, so within the next few weeks it'll finally happen!
Any advice for a first-time bunny owner that i might not have learned through my online research, that only experience could teach me?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

If you don't already have a rabbit picked out, I would recommend getting one that is already spayed/neutered. That way you don't have to deal with the terrible teens of a baby rabbit growing up, hopefully the rabbit would already be litter trained, plus you won't have to go through the stress or expense or getting the rabbit fixed. Spay/neuter surgery can be very expensive in some places, and often if you get an already fixed rabbit from a rescue or shelter, it is much cheaper.

Also bunny proof! Most rabbits are big chewers, and especially watch those cords. They seem to really like to munch on laptop and mobile chargers.

If you look in the library section on the forum, there are all sorts of tips and info for new rabbit owners.
