The kits seem to have white specks all over their body, in their ears, and on their neck. What is this?!?!

The only thing I can think of is fur mites. The only other rabbits I have are their parents Lila & Charlie and they have NO signs of fur mites. The only sign they have is fur loss but I think the fur loss is due to molting because they have no bald spots or dandruff.

All my rabbits live outside including the kits. They live in a hutch. I clean the hutch regularly and I cleaned and disenfected the hutch right before they were born. There is Kaytee Granule Bedding and Timothy hay in the nestbox.

Also Lila & Charlie were at the vet a few months ago and the vet said they are perfectly healthy.

Here's some pics:

Any explanations??

Thanks so much! I was soo worried :) When is the soonest I can clean out the nestbox? It's really cold here and the temps are in the 20's at night. If I clean out the nest I feel like I might loose a lot of the fur that keeps them warm. Any suggestions? :)

Unless the nesting material has become wet/soiled then you could wait a little longer to change it. If you feel some wet spots take those out and keep as much of the hair/hay as you can. Replenish with some fresh hay.
