Okay. Sooo..

I have a sable point brood doe who just got beaten up during breeding. She had... Well, quite a bit of fur pulled from an angry buck from her uncooperative-ness.

Long story short, as her fur started to grow back, it came in about 5-7 shades darker than her fur color. Creating an even splotchier sable point.

She wasn't that bad when I got her. LOL. But it doesn't matter much, as she's obviously a brood doe only.

She's been through a molt, and the color has stayed.

Now. A couple weeks back, she decided to attack one of her kits after I had done some posing practice... (Which was a huge, long fiasco that solved itself the next day) She ripped out a line of fur at the nose. Now that the fur is most of the way back, it's really dark.

What is the likely hood of a younger rabbit being able to molt that out...? I would have figured that Sadie would have ditched some of the dark with a molt, but she proved me wrong. I'm sure the one spot wouldn't hurt her showing too bad, but it's bugging me. It's all I can see when I look at her, is that one dark spot. >.>;
