Of course all my food shopping trips these daysare all about the bunnies.I get the leftovers, sonow I've ended up with a bunch of beets --Iwastryingoutbeet greens on the bunnies --which only went over so-so.

So how does one cook the beets themselves? Do you peel them? Steam themor cover them in water? How long do they take to cook?

I've ended u p with a ton of radishes, too, seeing as everybunny likesradish leaves, but at least I know what to do with them. ;)

sas :)and the new greens gang :bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance:

Your buns actually eat radish leaves? My hubby loves radishes, so of course the bunnies won't touch the leaves.

My mom always pickled beets. I have no idea how, but they tasted great!

I LOVE steamed beats...unpeeled and fresh out of the garden. mmmmmm

Just put them in a pan, unpeeled. Covertotallywith water and boil for 45 mins for a small one to anhour plus for a big one. When it's done, plunge into cold water andpeel. Easy Peasy, but a little messy!!!

I love beets! I don't know how to cook themthough.. just a warning your pee might turn pinky colour (Ithink it does that with beets..hmm):D Hehe
