The other video I took yesterday. I like Weatherly's imitation of "The Black Stallion," even though she is a filly.

Sorry about my longe whip wooshing through the air but that was the only thing that got them motivated to kick their heels up!

Weatherly is a purebred Morgan - Nefertiti is a purebred Modern American Shetland Pony - Weatherly's birthdayis April 22; Neffie's is May 21st and they will both be three.

Enjoy - I think I am getting this video thing down...

Gotta add, Neffie decided breaking through the electric fence was fun. Once I was able to catch her (Bridget my GSP thought it was fun to chase Neffie until Neffie T-boned her with a double barreled kick to the ribs), and got her back in her stall, I found that the ground had broken so I fixed that. My oldest son Andy is home from college this weekend and he is studying the electrical trades so he is going to go over the fence to make sure it is capable of delivering a good zap.

One of the other things I enjoy doing with my horses is running with them. I have always been able to run with the minis in the pen but Weatherly is almost 15.3 hands of three year old filly with a mighty kick so with her, she follows me along the fence line, I tell her "Ready, set..." and she lets out a squeal, a kick and she tears up the field. Benn always called horses with their tails flagged "uptailed horses" and that describes Weatherly.

I ended the day running with Mercy... she is still full of herself, kicking her heels up, tossing her head and letting out her "grunting squeal."

It is fun being a kid again... even at the "older" age of 44... thank God my neighbors can't see me...:blushan::craziness:panic:

Oh, don't you LOVE those horses who defy the electricity monster and break the hotwire?

NOT!! LOL!
They are gorgeous!

I hate when they defy electricity and go through the wire...

Luckily, with the ground fixed, Neffie seems to know that going through without being zapped is not an option.
