So my cat, Kacchan and Oko, my Mini Rex, usually gets along fine. But a few hours ago, Oko was swatted by Kacchan because he was getting a little too close to her. Usually, she could care less and would let him go around. I know that it could be because she's pregnant and her temper is unstable, and I've decided to separate the two until Kacchan gives birth and calms down.
My question is, will it affect Oko in the long run? Will Oko be scared to death by sudden swatting? He looks fine now. Because he went to her twice today, well, they hung out but he actually went towards her twice and got swatted both times. And afterwards when I attempted to stroke him, he flinched because of Kacchan's smell on my hand. I guess he's afraid of her now?
