Ok, just curiouos, I LOVE frosy's. They are my top choice of a bunny color. I've had Holland lops and Mini Rexes but have only seen Frosty's in the lops. Can you find Frosted Mini Rexes?

I guess you can, because I found this one:

Aww so adorable! :) Well then, now for me to find one.

Did you get yours at a show or where'd you find him?

Oh, no, Mia! I found that online. LOL I only have French Lops and Californians right now. Although we're hoping to add Polish (for me) and Mini Siamese Satins (for Kitty) soon. :)

but also remember that in mini rex there is a color called himi. Without knowing the genetic background of the animal it's hard to tell if it is a frosty or a really bleached out himi. Although I believe Frostys should have some kind of ticking shouldnt they?

Oh I do know that Frostys/Ermines come in Angoras because my friend had gotten one from a show. I don't remember which breed of angora though.

Yeah I couldn't tell there with the picture above. I'd agree it doesn't quite look like a frosty. I do think they're supposed to have some sort of ticking-mine did.

hmm, I'll have to look up frosty angoras! :)

Frosty have brown or blue/gray eyes. Himis would always have red/pink eyes.

Frosty's appear in many breeds, but are less common due to selective breeding to avoid a variety that isn't showable in a number of breeds.

Ermine aka frosty in the Angoras is often diffused into what appears to be a pure white coat. (DQ in the Angoras - pure white coated rabbit with colored eyes).

Ahh, ok thanks for clarifying.. (though I do love frosty's sooo much I wish they'd be a showable color.) :p
