Friday the 13th

This morning I was taking mail out to the mailbox and found a penny laying in the driveway. Of course, seeing that it is Friday the 13th, I picked it up. I'm keeping it in my pocket all day today.

"Find a penny, pick it up, all the day you'll have good luck"

Nothing bad so far! Mind you, I slept in until 11 today, so that lets me off the hook for 5 hours or so.

Gotta drive 2 hrs north today, so hopefully my luck will hold...!

Sounds like you were indeed lucky.

I spent the day with a herd of black cats at the shelter. Didn't realize it was Friday the 13th til I wrote my sponsor check.

I have had no bad luck today so far.
But all week I have.
On Monday night my cat peed on my backpack so tuesday I was at school and smelt like cat pi** all day and my mom wouldn't come get me! Wednesday it smelt like it too cuz mom didn't clean it well enough.
And then yesterday Minnie had problems giving birth and had a deformed dead baby.

Tonight I am going quading, and I am hoping I won't flip it as this will only be the second time driving it all by myself. Last weekend was the first and I nearly flipped it.

Well my lucky penny worked! I made it through the entire day safe and sound.

We had really high winds a couple days ago, and the town's power went out, and someone who works with me told me my job had no power and it wouldn't be on until Sunday. I had to work yesterday, so I was pretty happy to have off. Then, they called me at around five and yelled at me, "ARE YOU COMMING TO WORK OR NOT?!!" We were super busy too.

That was about the only bad luck I had.

Well last night I luckily didn't get hurt from riding the quad, but when I was on it I went through a branch that was sticking very far out, I had gone thru it before but nothing happened. Well this time I was going a bit faster and as I went thru my glasses were ripped from my face and flung foward. I immediatley stopped the quad because I didn't know where they were and how am I going to drive at twilight with no glasses?

Note: I am not blind, I can see well without them but I still need them.

So I turned the quad off and yelled for Karlee and my sister, Karlee was some 20 feet up in a tree and they were both about 20 feet away form me. So they came and we searched for my glasses, couldn't find them. So Karlee took the quad around a diffrent way and turned the lights on, she then found the glasses just inches from where I had stopped the qaud. The left little ear hooker wire was bent to the left. So I had to go until just a few minutes ago where crooked glasses.

My step-dad fixed them for now but I will have to go to the eye doctor and get them fixed.

Haha, Amanda. That was pretty funny though, and I was like "Go figure, it's Friday the 13th!"
Well, I didn't have any bad luck yesterday. My friends did, sadly.
