Dustbunny and Clyde are now 5 mos. old. Can I start giving them fresh fruit and veggies now?? What should I start with first? I know to only give them a tiny amount and one thing at a time!! Also I can start rebonding them. Should I start rebonding them and introducing new foods at the same time??

Ours get cilantro, parsley, italian parsley, romaine lettuce, dandelion greens and a small slice of carrot or apple. We split it up morning and night. We were told you could start at 4 months with the veggies. Bonding and feeding are a separate issue--if they are neutered and been so for at least a month you should be able to start.

YAY!! they were neutered 5 weeks ago so we can start bonding them this week!! Maybe I'll start with a sliver of carrot this week. they cuddle and groom each other through their fence and are always laying together next to the fence. I'm going to bring them upstairs in our spare bedroom and try that for their first encounter. they were never in that room before!! so excited!! hopefully they can be lovey half brothers again one day!!

I would personally start with something like parsley or romaine lettuce, both are very mild. I wouldn't start on carrot simply because it's a treat food and high in sugar. But I suppose you have to get them used to it at some point so probably doesn't matter too much what you start with.

I started with cilantro, its really easy on the tummy. But romaine is a good place to start too, or red/green leaf lettuce. They're all good ones to start with.
Good luck with the veggies and the bonding! Just keep an eye out of soft poops when starting to feed new things! :)

I´d probably with herbs, cilantro, parsley, basil, dill, mine love all of these. These also like watercress, rocket, green leaf lettuce.
