and I'm getting excited! According to my calculations (and that of Rabbit Register. lol), I need to put the nest box in on Friday and the babies should be here by Monday.
I have NO clue how to palpate, and I have severe CTS so have minimal feeling in my fingers, so didn't try. But she's definitely getting a big belly. And she's been spending a lot of time just laying down, munching some hay, then flopping back down.
This is the lynx doe (from "what color is she" thread) and a broken lilac buck. While I'd love a litter of super cute babies, right now I'll just be happy with healthy, live ones. Although I hope not all of them get hit with the broken pattern.
Anything special I should be doing for her? I plan on sleeping in the barn when she's due, just in case (used to do it all the time, with mares). Next year I'll have a webcam set up in the rabbitry and I can watch from the house.
