My kids were walking the family dog and they found a beautiful little bunny aprox 4 lbs and seems full grown. He is jet black with 2 white paws in the front. He is some sort of dwarf bunny as he has short little ears. Anyways this bunny had rope around it's neck-who knows where he came from and thank God he didn't get strangled somewhere.
I'm offering him for "FREE" to a good home but you MUST make a $10 donation to an animal shelter of YOUR choice. That's not asking too much. You can bring me a money order addressed to a shelter to make things easier. :) I will NOT accept personal checks. I will then mail the donation to the shelter you have chosen.

This bunny LOVES being petted and held. Would be great for gentle children and nice pets that won't eat him. Someone socialized him and loved him at one time. He is REALLY SWEET and seems happy to be inside and warm and fed. I will set you up with some bunny food, treats and bedding. I also have a cage I could sell you for $15. (I paid $45-I used to have a ferret)and it is a nice big size 2ftLx3ftWx18"tall with lots of room for him to play. Sorry no pics available right now.
Serious only please. CALL 414-385-9866

Sigh, if we had more room, or time, or funds. I hope the craigslist person will do a good job screening and this lil guy finds a forever grateful home. Sounds like she's aware of the harm that can come to free or cheap rabbits. A rope around it's neck, vs. a harness or leash?? {Prayers and adoption wishes go out to you little guy.} AT best, maybe she can keep him for a week or two, then submit to WIsconsin Humane Society or carefully ask questions so the $10 given does not turn into malicious intents. At the shelter he'll be neutered and have a safe environment. My heart is always in rescue mode (but realize us rescuers have limits too.)
Thanks for posting, WLM. TF/Julie - SRR

I hope he gets rehomed and is forever loved.
