Found another possible buck!!

This one is a little ways from the other rabbit. But I think this one is very nice looking. Trying to decide which one I want!! Now, I am leaning more towards this all white one. I would love to get both.. but I dont think it would be a smart idea at the moment!! I have to get some more hutches built before bringing home TOO many more rabbits!

Just out of curiosity, why do you like this one? He is super cute, but REW is always dominant and it is hard to get pet homes for REW babies.

Because I think he is a very nice looking rabbit!! I didnt know that about REW rabbits. I am still undecided on which one to get

Take it from me. NO ONE WANTS RED EYES on a rabbit!!!!!!!! I had such a hard time getting rid of my cals when I breed them.

Sorry, those are red eyes! I think he's very cute though, and maybe you won't have a hard time selling!

In the picture at the top of this post, it kinda looked like he had red eyes, but I couldn't tell, and then in the link you posted, it's very clear: his eyes are red! But i don't think that should dampen your spirits, you could always give the babies to a good pet store that cares for them, and I think someone is always out there who doesn't mind red-eyed bunnies!
Any updates on your current babies??

Yup those eyes are red. He is a cutie though. BUT he will dominate the other color so you'll probably get them all like him. You want variety lol.

Hey, you never know.. my son LOVES animals with red eyes, he says "it makes them special" LOL!

I wouldnt be comffortable with giving them to a pet store!! I think I will not go with this one. I will take your guys' word for it!! Thanks for the advice!

I felt the same way about pet stores, and you do have to be very careful if you were going to give them to a pet store, to look all around, make sure they have a good space, and talk to the people first. Sorry, i feel the same way about pet stores as you, it was just the only suggestion that came to mind!

Thats okay!! I have lots of room here for any babies that do not find homes!! Well, kinda.. just would have to build some more hutches is all.

absolutely. I still havent chosen one. Still going to do some searching before making any final decisions. I MIGHT get this guy.. Just cause I like him.. and not necessarily breed him. Havent fully decided what to do with that one. But there is that other orange and white guy or black and white. I will decide probably sometime next week.

That's strange about the comments about REWs. I could have sold my REW doe 3 times, and I don't even want to sell her. The REW, when bred to another color, gives you a greater chance of bringing out any dilute colors in the other parent's side (that's hidden because of the dominate color).

Yes, that is true, but REW to broken usually produces all REWs and charlies. And most pet people don't like "red eyed" rabbits. Last time I went to the pet store, there were two REW Hollands that had been there for two months, but their harlequin and broken red siblings sold within the first few days.
