I may be an ultra-conservative right-wing Republican....but I was a die-hard fan of the show West Wing. I think there were maybe 3-4 shows (at most) that I missed the first time they were shown. I usually taped them - then watched them another time or two during the week (I wasn't working at the time).

I loved the relationships between the people and while much of the "political" agenda for the show was different than mine would be - I couldn't help but admire the quality of writing and acting on the show.

My son shared this with me a week ago - the sad part is - given a list of episodes...I could almost name the episode each of these scenes are from....

Anyway - for all the fans of West Wing on here....(I wish I'd done something like this myself)...

Ohhhhh, I LOVE the West Wing!!!

I only got into it after me and Steve got together though- about 18 months ago, we were both really really sick- and pretty much neither of us could get out of bed. He had the DVD's playing non-stop and I couldn't help but get addicted. We watched the entire 7 series in about a week I think. He has them all on DVD at home.

(I am in love with Josh  And Sam )

The Josh and Donna saga had me hooked- any other series that did the 'will they, wont they?' thing for so long could get a bit boring and people lose interest but they kept it going so well right up until the end!

The episode where Leo died had me in tears the whole way through.... :(

But my most favourite episode EVER has to be the one where Donna drops her underwear (in front of someone I can't remember)- absolutely hilarious!

One of my favourite quotes is where Bartlett speaks to a psychiatrist about not sleeping etc:

Psychiatrist:
'Tell me about the nature of your sleep problem'
Jed Bartlett:
'I can't sleep'
Psychiatrist:
'What happens when you try to sleep?'
Jed Bartlett:
'I stay awake'

The whole thing was just such brilliant writing.....

Oh, I wanna watch some later now! :biggrin2:

Edit: Oh and that video is brilliant! Thanks for sharing it!
