For people who have been pregnant

Ok so I have had a very light period this month. Like I did not even have to wear a femin product if I went to the bathroom every couple of hours.

Yes me and my husband have had unprodected sex.

But I time it around my ovulation like we dont have sex that week. I normally use comdoms. but some stuff has happened this month.

Now i know go buy a test and take it but I have been pregnant in the past and the test was negitive.

Is there a sure fire way you know your pregnant. Or do you havea lite period the month you found out.

I am kinda freaking because I dont have health insurence I can get it through my hubbys work but I did not want to have to right now. I just want to see if there is a sure fire way to tell before Igo spend 200 bucks on a test

I know that Dollar General has pregnancy tests for like $1 or so...pretty cheap - not sure of the price.

Maybe try buying 3-4 of those and take them every couple of days apart because it might take your body some time to build up that pregnancy hormone so that it doesn't show up at first...

They do FREE pregnancy tests - of course they are a "pro-life" aka "abortion alternative" center - meaning they will try to convince you to keep your baby (I don't know how pushy they would or wouldn't be).

I really know nothing about them...but you could call and talk to them.

Thats to far there five hours away from me. I am not thinking abortion. I have had miscarrage in the past.

we are going tomorow to buy a few test and see what happens. cause I am offically 1 week late for my normal period

I have heard of people having a light period while pregnant, sometimes people will have implantation bleeding when the fetus attaches to the wall of the uterus. Having said that the only sure fire way to know is to wait 9 months for a baby to come, or to go get blood work from your ob,lol. Urine tests can sometimes not work, maybe try taking a test and if you get a negative try to take another one a few days later, if you are still worried i would defintely go to a clinic or the OB to make sure. check out the center that Peg suggested or if there is a Planned Parenthood in the area they should be able to do it for less money.

If you are pregnant and you can't get on your husband insurance due to money issues....is there like a WIC program near you or something?

I know we where going and going for two years without one the minute we start using portection we have been pregnant this would be number 3.

I had light spotting (around the time I would get my period) for the first 3 months of pregnancy... Is your period late? I would wait until it is at least a week late, then take a test. I used 2 differant brands from the 99 cent store and then didn't trust them so I went out and bought a $13 test and they all said positive. So in my opinion the dollar store tests can be trusted they just might not be able to detect as early as some of the other ones on the market.

Well the dollar store test was a gip it did not ven give my the controle line.

so we are waiting and just going to a doctor on the first.

Pre natels My sister had quite a few left over and I am going to go to the same doctor. We just have to wait tell the first to get things going. I qualify for medicaid honestly anyone in the state of texas that gets pregnant qualify for some state insurence. But I have to pay the doctor 100 bucks to say yes she is pregnant.

She asked the doctor and they would start doing the basic heretiary test now but if I dont come in the 8 to 12 weeks thats fine. She said most people dont even know tell there like 10.



but we are still not totally for sure but if I go to this doctor. She will write me a script for birthcontrole for a year. If I am not

Almost all tests should be 99% accurate after the day you were supposed to get your period.

A light period could be caused by many things.

Do you have bloating/sickness/tiredness or any other symptoms?

Sickness no nausia yes. But I have that sometimes anyway.

I am always tired being big and going on a diet resently and starting to extercise more. Having hipoglsemick and low iron does not help that cause either. Have always had these even before I was a big girl.

We are going to take the test on the first at least if I am not I have birth controle for a year

Ok so I figured I would update. I took a test about 10 days ago that was neg. Nut I was do for my period 10 days ago also no period what so ever.

So this is the second month in a row that I have had a light period well no eriod I am going to wait tell the 1st to take another test. Hopefully the pregancy hormones will have kicked in by then.

My party is on nov 6th so I have to find out before i go drinking that night cause if I am of course no drinking

I think it's time to go to the doctor. If it's been this long and the test is negative, it's 99%+ chance that you are not pregnant.

Yeah we aregoing later this month. if money allows I took another test last night friend brought one by and it was neg also
