For my GSCE in english we are doing of mice and men

Well i know this has nothing to do with rabbitsof corse but for my GSCE we are doing mice and men is it a good bookand is it hard to undertand i just need some points of view for somework ?help or seen the flim xx

That book was one of the ones we had for my GCSE.

It is a good book. It makes an interesting read.

Don't see the film. As with all films, they always miss something from a book.

I did an assignment on that book right beforeschool ended. It is an ok book. But the plot doesn't really becomeevident until the very end. Good Luck

I've read it (back inhigh school) andLOVED it. Of course, I love to read and always have, one of the rarestudents who actually liked the assigned books to us in school.

I agree, read the book before watching the movie!

I had to do that for my GCSEs in 2002.I've seen the film and read the book. If I can remembercorrectly these are some points from it

Lennie has a brain ofa child and likes to pet soft things ie, the mouse the found on of the way of the ranch

They have the American Dream I think it was called to own their own land and have rabbits :shock:and other animals

George looks after Lennie

Lennie does not know his own strength

I am not sure whether you have reached the end of the book, so I won't say how it ends.

I remember my brother had a leading role when they did this play in high school. I really enjoyed it.

I've read it!! I read it last year. I'm only inyear 9 but we did a whole big thing on it. I found it really boringuntill the end when its like...wow. They go to the farm to work. Lennie( he is the big one isn't he??)is a bit thick bless him but is a reallygood worker but he gets really angry when people pick on him, i thinkhe broke someones arm but i forgot. This causes a whole big problem,you see he kills a puppy by being to rough with it then he accidentialykills curlys wife. Then George tells him to hide and while the farm menare looking for him George kills him!!!! Before that bit its reallyboring tho..enjoy!!! lol

Yes he did, didn'tLennie crush itduring a fight in the ranch? I think he breaks her neck as he gotcarried away stroking her hair and runs away...

Not my favorite book ever!
