When I got Sampson, I took him to a friend'shouse. She wanted to see his pedigree, so I took it in herhouse and left it there. I just picked it up today and waslooking it over. In addition to the pedigree, she listedanything his parents and grandparents (she had all of them) had won ina show. She used abbreviations, and I think I know what theyall mean, except 1 or 2. Please tell me if I'm wrong with any.

BOB - Best of Breed

BOS - Best of Opposite Sex

BBF - Best of Breed, Female?

BOV - I have no idea...

I'm just curious. Thanks,

Jen

Thanks, I didn't even think of variety.

Oh, man, do I feel stupid. I'm looking at it again, and Ijust realized that BBF is what she called that show. It was afair, Big Butler Fair. LOL

Sorry, I can't believe I missed that one. She told me that Icould pick up one from her next litter at that fair if I decided Iwanted one. I just wasn't quite thinking right.

Sorry,

Jen

You're very welcome!

Don't feel stupid about it! We are all human and its natural to make mistakes. :D

Pedigrees house a lot of information and can get quite confusing attimes for beginners and even experienced people if not doneproperly. Just remember, everyone at some point or anotherare newbies and have to learn things. :D
