For all the Rex owners out there

I am now the proud owner of a Castor Rex, whatweight should a fully grown Rex be. I would be grateful forany rexy info!

 

Mini orStandard Rex ? my Mini's are only supposedto weigh 5 lbs full grown . andYES!! they are awsome bunnysI just found out today thatmy whatwas said was an Opal miniis actually a silver otter? whohoooooo and theother is a aBlackOtter . I am thrilled ,. I just lovetheir fur and personalities .

I have one Standard and one Mini.. my standardis Rexie who's a Blue (solid gray).. He's pretty laid back.. doesn'tlike bothered or petted unless it's on his terms and time..he's my attitude bun bun.. he weighs in at 7 lbs.. andhere's a good pic of him waiting for a treat..

and my Mini is Sherbie who's a blue-tort.. he's a mix of colors andhe's forever changing with the molting seasons.. Sherb is VERY highstrung! he's got the most energy I've every seen out of a bunny.. he'llcome tearing the steps and just do a jump kick in the air.. so kewl!he only weighs about 4 lbs.. and here's a good pic ofhim..

 

Very pretty both of them, I love the colorof Sherbert , differentand awsome .

I'm glad my buns aren't the only ones withattitude problems.. *lol* sherbie will let me pet him more than rexiewill.. which surprises me sometimes.. then when rex actually lets mepet him, it makes it that more special!

I just had to post some pics of them.. I love showing them off andall.. I absolutely loved the way sherbie looked in his baby pics.. (Ibought him off a breeder via the internet) the different color's of hisfur.. right now he's got a black nose.. sooo cute! DH's calling himlittle black nose now..

I have 1 1/2 mini rexes - Hef is full mini rexand Skittles is half mini rex half holland lop. Their fur is great! He(Hef) hardly ever sheds, but she makes up for it - must be the HollandLop side! I picked her up the other day for about five seconds and itlooked like I was wearing a white angora sweater. Problem is I waswearing a black tee shirt!

Even better that their fur I just LOVE their personalities! Hef is thefriendliest, most playful pet I ever had! Skittles is still kind of newand getting used to us. Hopefully she'll follow in her big brother'sfootsteps!

I have just been on the British Rabbit Councilweb site and looked up breed standards for the standered Rex it saysweight 6-8lbs, this seems light for a large bun?

Yeah, I think standards weigh more like 10lbs, but I'm not positive.

I have 3 full Mini Rex and 1 half Mini Rex, half Himalayan.(And maybe, praying not, some Mini Rex, Himalayan, Holland Lop mixescoming.) I just love that fur. I cannot get past it.
