Thumper is finally old enough to eat veggies and fruit. I am introducing him to a new one every three days. So far no tummy issues. He will eat his lettuce out of my hand and carrot tops. Everything else so far he will eat only if I put it in his food dish.

I tried him with banana the other day and he did not eat it. I was so excited to try banana since I read they love them.

What are your buns favorite treats? Although I guess I should tryto find something he likes but can have a little more frquently so I can use it in training him.
Any suggestions?

My bunnies love papaya treats, raisins, apple slices, strawberries, grapes, and pureed baby food (no additives). Sometimes (if you have a picky bunny) you have to offer a new food to them a bunch of times before they'll actually try it--kinda like a little kid. Junie took FOREVER to try carrots, but once she did, she loved them!

bannas, berries of all kinds, brocoli, apples, grapes, herbs especially cilantro and parsley, and she loves the mini pumpkins she eats the entire thing

From Qtip:
"I love oats. They're the greatest. But they're not good bunny training because I turn into crazy attack bunny for them. Strawberry tops are good (mommy eats the strawberries first), and I love cilantro. Bananas are pretty nummy, but banana chips...they're the greatest."

My rabbits LOVE raisens, dried papaya, oats, cilantro, and romain. They get the raisens every day as treats. (my vet tells me not to give it to them, but they love it soo much I still give it to them, though not as much).
