Anybody's bun food aggressive? Pebbles is like a dog if I give her something she likes like a piece of apple, and try to move it (Like if it's stuck or to brush it off if it has hair on it). She'll attack my hand and growl at me to the point I just leave it! The only reason I can figure out why she would be so food aggressive is because she had 6 other brothers and sisters, her mom, and another bun in the same cage and the rush for food when she was growing up. Does anyone have this problem?

Thanks!

I don't have that problem with Nibbles, but there's one thing that she *yanks* out of my hand: mature spinach leaves. It's like she's a little kid saying "Mine!" ;)

Hehe! I got a video of her this morning in her piggy stage with her apple. Just give me an hour or so to let my slow computer load it then I'll post it :D.

Alright here's the video. She is very vocal and is very sweet, but when I come to close to her food she gets very irratated. I don't usually pester her while she's eating, but th is is just to show you how food aggresssive she is, especially with her apple!

*Oh, if you can't hear her grunts (although they are pretty loud) just adjust the sound*

Here's my little piggy!

Absolutely adorable! We've got some that are very "territorial" over their goodies and will lunge and scratch at anyone who would dare to mess with their treats.

Thanks! She is very grumpy, especially in the mornings-afternoon.

She is so vocal! She grunts when she's happy, irritated, or just plain excited to see someone! She probably makes more noise then my dog! I'll have to get more videos of her with herwide range of grunts. You can always tell if it's a "Oh I'm glad to see you" grunt or "Get the heck awayfrom me!" grunt. :D.

LOL!! That's just like Wildfire! She grunts when she's got food too, or when you wake her up, or she sqeaks when she's getting a good petting. She grunts lightly to herself when she grooms too.

We've got twin bunnies!! (Although they couldn't look more different...)

Glad I'm not the only owner of an overly food protective bun! I call her my little guard dog when Igive her apple, her favourite thing. Compared to the quiet Pepsi who's only grunted maybe 5 times at most her whole life, Pebbles is very talkative:D.
