Follow Up Vet Visit #2

Well, we had another visit tonite...and thingsare going GREAT.....Dr Mark mumbled the word "amazing" severaltimes. There is still yucky **** coming out of a couplespots, its more infection coming out...I been squeezin things to helpthat along, he told me to keep doing that. We gotta stay onmeds til things are totally healed, he doesn't wanna take the chance ofinfection coming back or becoming active again at this point.The culture came back sterile YEAH!!!!!!!! While wewere there Corky proceeded to pick at things and I was gonna stop himand he said no, give him a minute...turned out he was messing with oneof the spots that needed open for more things to come out...he saidwow...thats one smart bunny!

We don't go back now til Wednesday and stitches will start coming outthen...not 100% sure if they will all come out at that time or not.

Thats it for now!!!


Oh, and we got the bill for the surgery...I wasthinking...:shock:to get it...but it was only 248....hediscounted 316 worth....he didn't charge a DIME for his time....itslisted at 90 minutes......WOW...I was suprised/impressed...I feel badhe didn't charge for his time..but its nice cuz this whole thing hasalready cost a fortune...luckily he's letting me make pmts!!

What an Inspiration this whole story is. The knowledge and kindness ofDr. Mark, your love and tireless effort to keep Corky here, and Corky'sphenominal strength, spirit, and love.

Kathy Smith would call him your Heart Rabbit. Even though all of ourrabbits mean the world to us, there's usually one or two that we havein our lifetime that is our Heart Rabbit. It sounds to me like Corky isa perfect candidate for the position.

We have all learned and been so inspired from Corky's experience. Our tears of sorrow have turned to tears of joy.

Heart Rabbit is about right...Ideveloped a heart condition about a year ago and had surgery back inDec which has also led to depression...and the bunnies all help alotwith that...but he especially does as when I'm real down and want tojust sit and cry he just cuddles with me and doesn't move...he seems toknow when I need him to be that way!

Wow. I already knew Corky was way cool, but sois your vet! I guess he's gratefull that someone loves their pet thatmuch, so it shouldn't make them broke!

I agree, and itsawesome!!!!! Makes me all the more glad the few things I'vedone for him...wish I could do more, but I know its the thought thatcounts!!! I've taken him things for his critters that I'vemade and fresh goodies from the farmers market....today we took him therecipes and a card from Corky!

He wanted me to show everyone what I do to himto keep him away from his stitches when he's sitting with me if hestarts buggin em...and also how I put him if he fights hismeds....whats funny is he'll sit there for hours..LOL!

What and awesome bun and vet! Thats when youknow the vets you bring any of your pets to is truely in it to helpthem and not suck you dry! Continued luck to the both of you....youalready saw the worst, it can only get better from here!
