Hi. Fluff and I would like to say hi. Fluff is a Chocolate Chinhilla mini lop doe born 2/7/12. She is primarily a friend for Logan who is 7, but his mom (thats me!) is the primary care giver.
We have spent a couple of years trying to find a pet that might fit in our family. We have an allergic family. A Dad whose allergies to pretty much every animal cause signifigant breathing problems, and a boy with sneezing, itching, wattery eyes with all animal contact. It has made finding a pet hard! Dad suggested a couple of months ago maybe we could Get Logan a rabbit. Mom (thats me!) Said I didn't think so because I didn't want to keep a rabbit outdoors. After talking to a local breeder for her input, we decided on an outdoor bunny who can spend] her winters in the garage. So wednesday the kids and I went to the breeder and visited with some babies. There was one who had some interest in Logan, and seemed to like being held. So she came home with us.
Right now she is living in our garage in a wire cage until she gets a bit bigger, then we will move her to out nice shady back yard. She comes out several times a day to play, and we talk to her a lot on our way in and out. Logan is in love, though he is a little impatient for her to settle down a little and give some cuddles lol. I will post some pictures once I learn how!
