My rabbit is about 2 years old.

His teeth started massively over-growing since I got him, his previous owner claims not to have had any problems.

He was on muesli when he came to us and after his teeth overgrowing i changed him to pellets and hay with greens like cabbage/lettuce/turnips

I am unsure what breed he is.

His teeth seem to grow back quicker each time I take him to our vets and have them trimmed this time it was only 4 weeks and I need to take him back. I have tried wooden chew blocks, wire chews, and mineral blocks however he doesntchew them. The only thing thats close is the sun dried sweetcorn or nut sticks he loves these.

Floppy eats a lot, a full bowl a day and will still go mad for more food.

About 3 weeks ago i notice he was losing fur on one of his front legs, i read it could be because it was getting warm and didnt do anything, now its down both legs and its bald, no scabs, redness and he will let me touch so no pain.

Can anyone help? Im struggling to keep paying for the vet visits its £17 each time I go. (monthly)

That's odd that he would suddenly start having a problem with long teeth... All I can advise on that is to keep providing pellets, hay and hardwood (fruit or maple are the best). Does he chew on wires? Sometimes that will stress the teeth enough to cause malocclusion.

As far as the bare patches go, try putting an antibiotic ointment on it (Neosporin, etc.) I had a doe that developed bare patches on her face after treating a scabby patch on the back of her neck. The fur grew right back in after I treated it twice (a couple days apart).

The other possibility is that he's chewing his fur, but I haven't had to deal with fixing that behavior with my rabbits.
