Floppy Ear!

Hey,
Recently my Lionhead Cross, Nala, has been really ill. Shes coming out the other end now, but a week ago Tuesday she had to have an IV drip in her ear, which she pulled out overnight, I had to take the bandage off when I got her home, it wasnt bleeding, but her ear flopped over and went hot for a couple of days.

Now, her ears are of a normal temperature again, but her ear is still flopped over, I just wondered if it will go back to normal? or will it stay like it. Could it take weeks, months?

Shes 2 years old, and has always had lovely big sticky up ears!

That's rather strange; what breed is she crossed with? I would think the ear should go back up, but being that it's been this way for over a week, maybe not? Maybe that was some sort of ear damage the the time of her ripping the IV catheter out?! Has she been to the vet since then? I would at last call the vet office where she was before and see what they think. I'm kinda unclear, it osunds like she pulled the IV out at your place, and not at the vet?

I don't know but am glad she's getting better.
