so i have had flat feet for a few years and since I'm paranoid, I'm becoming kinda worried about my feet and what will happen to them later on.

does anyone else have this issue? is it that bad? what exactly is it?

the main thing; i want to know what i can do to help them. how can i improve my flat feet issue and make my arch better.

any easy tasks i can do to make it better?
please help me before i have a panic attack :p :big wink:

Sorry to say, I have never heard of anything to improve them but it could be out there. Why are you so concerned? I have never known it to really be an issue other than some shoes just not being comfortable.

My ex had flat feet and was in the army. He did infantry and airborne with no problems.

I have flat arches too. The only thing I know of that can be more of an issue is plantar facitis, which is the inflammation of the tendon that runs up the back of your heel. It can be rather painful. Every night before I go to sleep I stretch my hamstrings and pull my toes back to stretch the arch/heel tendon. Running around in your bare feet or with non-supportive shoes can make it worse, but I can't stop myself, I hate shoes. I just make sure to wear good sneakers if I will be walking long distances. If you have pain you will want to see a podiatrist. When mine acted up he gave me injections to get it to calm down (thoes suckers hurt, but it helped).

because I'll admit that I'm really paranoid. like extremely. and i want to do something about now since i was careless about it for the past few years.

If your really worried or if its causing pain then go get some custom insoles made. That will help put your feet into the correct position and can prevent issues from starting(like back, hip, calf, heel pain). They can be expensive though. So if its not causing you any issues now I'd just recommend getting some good pairs of shoes with good arch support.

I have flat feet and inward rolling ankles. There isn't anything you can do about it except supports and stretching the calf/leg muscles.

I get a catalog for people with problem feet, but that won't do you any good in Uzbekistan. [I have high arches & wide feet.] Again, I don't know what's available there, but I hope you can find shoe inserts that are reasonably priced, not custom-made, but better than nothing. And flip-flops are probably not good to wear, unless you can find some with better soles.
