First I will get pics up latter I need to lay down I did not get much sleep with 4 kids in a hotel. The rabbits were the angels.

The show it self was fun we didn't win but we did learn a lot. The little baby blue tort I was going to get ended up getting sick then died the day before the show it was very sad. I did end up getting a bigger blue tort from the same breeder I got my other two from. The girls got there 4H projects 2 nether land dwarf one buck the other doe both black otter solid.

The came the raffle (big mistake). I got $5/20 tickets. Ended with a chestnut buck Holland lop. Only 8 weeks old and too cute. Then I got the grand champion Himalayan. He has like 3 papers with him and the Abra tattoo in the otherear.

So in short I went to the show with 2 and came back with 7 god help me....

Sounds like a lot of us! End up going with a few and coming home with extra's!
My only advice, if you don't want to do that again is to only bring x amount of money to put towards rabbits and only so few holes open to put them in. it's always helped me bring less home than I have in the past.

Congrats on the newbies though. I'm not good with raffles so I never buy the tickets. I'm just not that lucky a person to win things(and yes I have tried in the past) I'm glad your first show was that fun for you all, other than the sleep issue.

Glad you had fun, I always do. Nice to be some place with dozens of bunny loving people. I also love seeing all the different breeds, there is always one or two I haven't seen before. I am also amazed at how far some people travel too.

The last show I went to is the first one in ages where I didn't come back with a rabbit. Actually sold one, so I came home with less then I went with.

A couple of years ago, I went to a show, was talked into a rabbit (not real hard), my son bought one and then he won one in the raffle. All this equaled to buying a bunch of cages too.

Sounds like a typical Rabbit show to me! LOL! My husband gets excited when I can come home with the same number I went with... doesn't happen too often!

Glad you had a good trip anyway. Did the kids enjoy it? (Funny, my kids couldn't get away with ANYTHING at a Rabbit show! Everyone knew who they were and anything they did would get reported back to me... thye wouldn't even try! LOL!)

The kids loved the show. They where good at the show just the hotel and trying to get them to sleep was the hard part. The bunnys are all settleing in. I hope to get some pics real soon.

That sounds a lot like my 4-H leaders kids...lol. They know just about everyone at the shows - but that's easy considering almost all the shows we go to, there's the same breeders, etc. But anything her boys do, usually gets back to her as well!

Congrats on the new additions, though! lol.

And I just love the raffles! :) So much fun. The shows we attend don't often have rabbits in the raffle, but sometimes they do...We just don't put our tickets in the bucket/bag for them, lol. We do however put our tickets in the bags/buckets for things like carriers, and other rabbit related materials. lol.
