So our 2 Flemish boys are litter mates and have been together since birth. We just got them nuetered and they are 7months old. Since we seperated them around 5-6months we had to do some introductions. This is the first bonded pair that we have had and I wanted some opinons on how the bonding is going.

The first time we had them out together it was in a neutral territory and a smaller space. They were fine with eachother just hopped around, then they both mounted eachother a little bit. We let them out for about 20 min together and put them back in their cages. When the went back into their cages they did start to groom eachother through the C&C cage.

The second day we did introductions they were very curious about eachother, for about 10min they groomed eachother and took turns laying side by side. Near the end our more dominant bunny (Nubs) mounted about 3 times for a couple seconds each time. Chili (The submissive one) just layed there, kind of sleeping while he was doing it?We removed him after a couple seconds and they went on laying by eachother. Both took turns grooming eachother and themselves after that.

It seemed to us that the introductions went really well, they have always been good with eachother. Theyre cages are built right next to eachother, we often see them grooming eachother between the C&C cages. Therefore we thought that they would do okay, but we still want opinions on if they really are doing well. Also, how long should we do the small introductions before making the time longer and space bigger?

Sorry for the long post, we just want everything to be done right!! :bunnydance:

Well from what I can see the two seem to be good little chums and I think that maybe keep doing a 20 minute mini introduction for another week and then finally join there Cages together during the day and pay close attention if all goes well then leave them over night and keep seeing how they progress until your positive that there happy together!

if they were JUST recently neutered their hormones will not diminish entirely forover a month.

Ithink that they sound like they are going to be an 'easy bond" but at leaast for the period of time that they have male hormones in their systems I would be cautious about leaving them alonetogether unsupervised.
