Hi everyone can you please tell me if there is anyway I can find out the gene's my rabbits carry?

I don't really know much about genetics but i'd love to find out!

thanks guys

There is no practical "genetic testing" for rabbits. If you have a pedigree, you can usually get a pretty good idea of what genes your rabbit carries. But there is no way to find out exactly what genes your rabbits carry, except by "test breeding". Breed them and see what theyhave. Or...Breed them to other rabbits that you know what they carry... (But do you want to produce that many babies, of questionable lineage and have to find them all homes or care for them?)

Nah I was just curious to see if there was a test to see what they carried like there is with horses etc I dont want to breed babies just to find out the genetics of mine.

i love my bunnies no matter what they have in them!

I wonder if you can get a test done to see what breeds they carry, like you can like you have already said with horses and with dogs.
