She's a broken black (what my daughter wanted). I had posted on all the rabbit Facebook pages about looking for a doe. A breeder (who I didn't know) said a friend of his was selling one and he'd pick her up for me. He lives about 4 hours away. Anyway, it turns out that my Adeline doe was one of his babies. We've been talking for a few days through messages, and he volunteered to come to my place to deliver the doe...and help me with posing, and with shoulder evaluations (my weakness...I've read the "ideal" but knowing what I'm looking for is another story), and evaluate my babies and give me his take on them. How cool is that?!?! I'm pretty excited.
There have been quite a few people that have been so helpful during this bunny breeding/showing venture. Pam Nock has been invaluable...both here and at shows. Lots of people on the forums have been super helpful and encouraging. And now someone on the other side of the state is willing to come out to my rabbitry and help me out. There may be a few bad eggs in the rabbit world, but the good ones far outweigh the bad!
Soon Nestle will have a girlfriend and I'll get help with my Flops. And hopefully he can settle the debate, once and for all, on whether Adeline is a fawn with smut or a lynx. LOL
