Ferret Nation Cages for Rabbits?

Are Ferret Nation Cages safe for rabbits to have as housing?

They are safe as long as you dont let them go through the little hole in the middle, but I don't seen why you would want them in one. It really isn't designed well for rabbits. Chinchilla's and ferrets do wonderfully, but rabbits... Not so much.

I basically had one that was 4 ft high and was 2ftx2ft. it had several floors. But I only did this for my rabbit because she loves to climb and she enjoyed the cage very much. However she had several hours of out of cage time every day where she could run around and have more room. I would only suggest it if your space constrained. But as long as they have time to exercise I see no problem with it

I have yet to come across a cage that is big enough for a bunny to spend alot of time in. When I got Weston I knew nothing about rabbits and thought he would be fine in a cage. Even with a somewhat large cage he didnt have much room to move around and he was really restless. Now he has his cage plus my walk-in closet and really the only time he goes in his cage is to eat or use to the litter box.

Depends on the bunny. I think climbers will do very well. If you go to YouTube and do a search on ferret nation cages there is a gal who gives a great "tour" of her ferret nation cage she uses for her bunny. But, I see you don't have a bunny yet. I'd hate to see you waste money on a ferret nation to find out doesnt work out.

I looked into a ferret nation cage but went with this company instead. We got the purple one on the homepage but with steps instead of ramps. It provides 3 levels, aLOT of space and she loves it but she still gets several hours of free run each day.

If you are seriously inquiring about enclosures for a potential bun, there are alot of suggestions on here. NIC cages, xpens etc, lots of options....

Look at the one I built, and i'm not a crafty person AT ALL! It was really fun!
