I can almost certainly say, Ember is expecting. Despite my lack of experience I am sure I could feel some lumps in her belly. It's not surprising as she mated about a dozen times:)
I am still not sure about Pearl who should be about 2 weeks. I am just wondering if it is easier to feel the babies in a proven doe as opposed to a first time mom?

I have found some does to be a bit harder to palpate, I had one that I could not tell until 14 days every pregnancy, but whether they have had babies or not does not seem to matter. When I get does from breeders who do not palpate I find they are harder to tell. They tend to tighten their stomaches so much when you try to feel that it is hard to tell.

I am not sure if their former breeder palpated them. I actually weighed both of them today and they both put on a similar amount of weight. Not sure if this is anything to go by.

My nethie gained 4 oz during her latest pregnacy. was up to 2 lbs, 5.6 oz. an hour after birth, she was down to her usual 2 lbs 1 .2 oz.

i've also found that its a lot harder for me to feel the babies in a BUD, because of the longer body. makes it more difficult to tell the difference between babies and organs.

Neither of them are BUD's. The one I am lest sure about is probably the "typiest" of all . I just have no choice but to wait it out as she refuses the bucks and her vulva is all pinky. I just wish she wasn't the one due first:(
