Can you use the cats Yesterday's News for rabbits' litter boxes?

It is fine to use, just make sure you get the unscented stuff. The cat and small animal product is the same except that the texture can be a bit different and the price id higher for the small animal stuff.

They are the exact same pellets, just packaged differently for marketing purposes (so they can charge you more for the small animal kind than the cat kind).

sweet, I didn't know that. I will get the cat version next time. It never occured to me to look at them since my cats will only use clumping clay and I knew that would be a horrible idea for the rabbit.

[align=center]Thanks all of you =] I'm happy about this... because my friend had her kitten declawed on the front (the kitten always scratched her up sooo bad!) and so they had to get Yesterday's News litter while her paws healed instead of their clay litter. Well, they have half a huge bag left, and they gave the leftovers to me for my buns because her mom hates the fact it doesn't clump or hide the pee/poop smell! =] Saves me some money!

I use the Yesterday's News unscented cat litter for my two rabbits. Bonus - if you sign up to get their newsletters, they'll send you coupons for the litter.

I bought a bag of this in the beginning - it's not the unscented stuff, but they have a grate over the litter. I found that this stuff isn't as effective at controlling odor as the wood pellets are. I,m just using mine cuz I have it and I won't be buying another bag of it. But it does absorb - it just takes longer to do so

I used to use this also before switching to wood pellets - in fact, today is wood pellet day. I am buying my supply for the year.
