I’m looking to get a bunny around June. So rather new to this, I was wondering do I need to feed from a bowl or can I scatter the food in the run? I’ll probably use a bowl in the winter but throughout the warmer months I thought it’d be nice for bunny to “forage” for her food?

It's up to you and her, I do both. I have two rabbits they would only eat from their bowls, funny but they just leave nuggets on the floor sometimes and look at me like Where's my food? My bowl is empty??

I usually use bowls for dry rabbit food (nuggets/pellets) and give vegetables/greens on a plate or just show them and they come running and take them from my hand. Sometimes I scatter pellets on their hay or floor as well. it doesn't matter winter or summer, but my rabbits are all indoor so yours can have different living space and rules as well.

I kind of do both. Apollo gets his breakfast and dinner in his bowl but then I scatter dried herbs into his hay, and he likes to pick them out and munch them
