Feeding Rabbit of Different ages

Good news is, Buck and Peanut have a very tight bond. Closer than he was with Molly.

Now the question of nutrition is quickly coming into play. He is about 5 months old. She is about 3 months old. Is there a good way to decrease Buck's pellet intake while still allowing Peanut to get all the nutrition she needs? Do you think she will be hardy enough at 4 months old to transition with him?

Anyone have had bonded rabbits of different ages that need to be transitioned on food?

Are you also planning to switch Buck to another feed? Its hard to feed them differently, together. You'd have to separate them at feeding time. The otheralternative is to continueas isso that Peanutisn't short changed so young. You couldwatchBuck and if he starts gaining weight thenyou'll have to do something different.
