I have a 6 month old lionhead ! He is free roam in my bedroom and has access to pellets and oxbow oat hay 24/7. But he doesn’t like the oat hay, or oxbow’s timothy hay, or oxbow’s orchard grass hay 
Should he still be eating alfalfa? At what age should he be eating big boy hay? Also when would be a good time to switch his feeding from free feed to twice a day ?
I tried the “eat the hay or starve” method on him to try to get him to eat the hay, but he started eating the little paper pellets in his litter box instead. I didn’t want him to get sick so I gave his food back.
Any advice?
