I know we've had this before, but I figured- new members, and also new seasons and series of shows, so it changes, right? I know my favourites do.....

So, tell us what your favourite shows are!

My favourites:

Eastenders
Coronation Street
Hollyoaks
Masterchef (love it!!)
Waterloo Road
X-Factor (when it's on)
The West Wing (I know it's finished :tears2: but we regularly watch the DVD's)
Brothers and Sisters
Friends (How can you ever get tired of that?)
Sex and The City
Frasier
The Hills :embarrassed: Yes I know it's bad but that's why I love it!

Most cooking shows- including Barefoot Contessa, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, and The F Word. And something that's shown daily on a food channel over here called Market Kicthen...

There's probably lots more that I can't think of right now, but it should be enough to start people off :p

Roseanne reruns
Buffy the vampire slayer reruns
King of Queens
Still standing

Greys anatomy
Lost
E R
Ghost Hunters
CSI

The real desperate housewives of _________
Real World

All the baby shows on Discovery health, like Deliver Me, Baby Stories, bringing home baby, Adoption stories............ WHich i wish they would make recent ones of that.

I hardly watch any TV at all, my favourite is Desperate Housewives. Lost is starting up again tonight so I'll be watching that. I sometimes watch animal cops houston/phoenix/ etc. on animal planet and sometimes I watch programmes like My Shocking Story on Discovery home and health.

That's about it!

For a long time I never really watched much at all. IF I did, it was when I happened to catch a show I liked. Now, I am hooked on a few and most of them are ones my kids are hooked on also!

REGULARLY WATCH:

  • HOUSE - favorite!
  • Ghost Hunters
  • NCIS
WATCH IF WE SEE IT ON/WHEN IT'S ON:

  • Project Runway
  • Tabitha's Salon Takeover
  • Gene Simmon's Family Jewels
  • American Idol during the auditions
  • The old episodes of NCIS - we just started watching this show.

One of my best friends was in the first series of that, as a regular extra! One of the lead cast members (I forget who now but a guy) knocked her over riding a bike and everybody fussed over her for days...

For about 6 years, I worked full time days *and* worked part-time nights, so I got really used to not watching tv much at all. I dropped the part-time job (finally!) in April (though with the recession, I could use the cash right now:() and am just getting used to watching tv again.

Current faves:

The Office (I liked the first 3 seasons the best)
30 Rock (just caught up on all of these)
Flight of the Conchords (don't get HBO so I won't get to see the new ones until
they come out on DVD:()
Dirty Jobs (Mike Rowe is so funny, but I usually skip any bits with dead animals)
Cities of the Underworld (so cool! I just wish the music and editing weren't
so "extreme")
Modern Marvels (I don't like all of these, but some of them are really cool)

Food Network Favorites: Good Eats (Alton Brown); Iron Chef; Diners Drive-Ins and Dives; Ace of Cakes; Dinner Impossible; and anything with Jamie Oliver.

Old favorites I like to watch on DVD: Northern Exposure; The X-Files; Quantum Leap.

Ace of Cakes;
They showed that over here recently! I loved it! They made some really amazing stuff!

Nothing can beat Barefoot Contessa for me though.... Every day at 12pm (when I'm home etc), I sit down with a cup of tea, and watch it. I wish we could have some new episodes over here....

They did show another US Food Network program called Healthy Appetite just before Barefoot Contessa a little while ago- that was so funny with it's irony- she was like the anti-Ina Garten! She would use a teaspoon of butter whilst Ina would use 1/2 lb! I definitely know who I preferred
