Oooh, great topic. My choir is singing at my school's winter concert this wednesday.

My all time favorite is probably carol of the bells, great fun to sing.

For some entertainment, listen to stevie wonder's version of the avemaria, it's pretty bad, as in, the diction. My choir teacherwas listening to different ones to find the one we're doing, and wefound that, and cringed.

This would be mine as well I think-- the Pogues and Kristy McColl (RIP) :tears2:

Also, the original Band Aid song for Africa, Do They Know It's Christmas?

And the Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy, 'specially the Bing/Bowie version.

John Lennon's Happy Xmas (War is Over)

Of course, White Christmas, Silver Bells ... hard not to love those ones.

My favourite albums arean old Phil Spector Christmas albumwith all the really old girl groups like the Ronettes, Crystals, etc. (Spector's insane, but he sure could produce goodmusic), and an even older one with Mahalia Jackson (I do love MahaliaJackson) singing Silent Night, Louis Armstrong doing WinterWonderland, Nat King Cole, etc.
