Eyes should be open by now...

One of my babies' eyes are both open,but the other 3 bunnies only one of them is...the other eye, is kind of"glued" shut like it was when it was first born...any ideas?
 
they should be open by now, just try gentlycleanind the eyes with a damp warm towel, but be sure to whipe verycarefully.:apollo:

Ok, I will try that... I hope that they haveeyes on that side... :?
 
They will haveeyes lol , sometimesthe skin over theeyes has a hard time lettingthem open with a warm moist LINT FREEtowel getntly lay hte towel over the eyes for aminute and then gentlywipe from the inside of the eyeto the out side of the eyeputting a tiny bit of pressureto help the eye gluerelease . they should POP right open .
 
It is very important that you get these baby'seyes open. After 10- 12 days orso, thechances of the eyes becoming infected or the babies going blind arevery great. I would get these babies eyes open today and seekhelp if you can't do it yourself.

I agree -- Eyes stuck shut at this age can indicate a bacterialinfection. In cases wherean infection hasextensively progressed, the eye may collapse).

Ok, well, anyway, I finally got them open,and...yeah, that was last night. And then, this morning, Iwent out there, and they were exactly the same as they had been!!!
