eyes open?

hi my mini lops are 12 days old today but they dont have teir eyes open yet? i know it can take up to 14 days or so ive been told. im just hoping for a bit of expert advice really is what i heared true? if so they should be opening in the next couple of days .

Do they look as though they are squinting? They should be starting to open at 10 days, and be fully open by about 2 weeks or so, or so I have read.

Someone with more experience will come along soon.

I have had eyes open from 10 to 15 days old

You don't want to let eyes stay shut for much over 10-12 days or you could see an infection starting.

Get a warm washcloth ready and gently rub the eyes. If that doesn't open them up, you can take two fingers and gently "pry" the eyelids open. You can't be too gentle or it won't work, so don't be afraid to pry a little bit more if it's not working. But I'd try the washcloth 2-3 times over the coarse of a day first to see if that will stimulate them.
