Wrangler's ears have been kind of sensitive lately. When I got a closer look at the outside of his ears, I noticed white flakes (like dandruff). I tried to scrap some of it off with my nail (which he did not particularly like) and it came off, but it did seem somewhat irritated. What could this be? Just dry skin maybe? The insides of his ears look healthy...:?

Yes could be ear mites. Get your bunny to the vet immediately. The longer you wait to get treatment the worse they will get. It doesn't cost very much to get the ears treated, but if you wait it will cost a lot.

Thank you for the link, it was very helpful.

I don't think Wrangler has ear mites. His ears look very clean and white like they are suppose to be. And he hasn't been itching his ears like he was. Maybe he just had dry skin?

My bunny Rocky has the same thing, he has had dry ears in some parts since I got him and it hasn't gotten worse. He scratches them a little bit so I am taking him to the vet to make sure he doesn't have ear mites. Perhaps it is a good idea to go to the vet just in case, because they are difficult to get rid of and should be treated asap
