Lupa wont come out of her cage yet and I'm afraid she's not getting enough exercise. Is there something I should be doing to get her out of the cage or should I just let her go at her own pace?

Right now...not exactly. Her cage does have a shelf that she can go to but she hasn't ventured up there yet. We plan on building her a NIC cage in a few weeks though.

Isn't your bunny still new? If so, she is probably settling in. It can take several weeks before they become very adventurous, particularly when you are watching. I would leave the door open and let her brave the wide world (house) as she gains confidence.

Yes she is lol. I just want the best for her and since I've never done this before I have no idea what to expect. I leave her cage open all day in the hopes that she'll come out. She does seem to be getting more adventurous though

lol I think Massimo and I are just worrying to much :p Already over protective as it seems lol. As long as she looks happy I suppose we're fine :D She sleeps and does the dead bunny flop already so I'm pretty sure that means she's good lol

To encourage her to come out you can put some parsley, or what ever she is partial to, on the floor right out of reach. Each day make it a little further for her to get the snack.

Rabbits are so curious that she will eventually get over it as she bonds with you. Also, you can lay on the floor and read out loud where she can see you. They get curious and will come out. Even when she hops on you resist the urge to pet. You can have something yummy next to you, then in your hand. Over time she will get used to you and let you pet.

That sounds like great advice! Thanks! I actually tried to coax her out of the cage last night but putting a treat at the door to her cage and while I was watching her she would look at it then look at me then look at the treat again. I turned my back for not even 2 seconds and she grabbed the treat and hopped away lol
