So a few days ago I gave Weston a box to play with. He has nibbled on the box a couple of times, but mostly he just chins it. He will seriously go around and chin the ENTIRE box. Tonight I forgot to set it out for him and he went to the edge of my bed and acted pretty antsy until I remembered to put it on my bed. After he chinned it he calmed down and fell asleep next to me. Why is he acting this way about a box? He doesnt even act this way with his humpys, and he loves his humpys.

Normally I have certain toys that he only gets when he is out with me, just because I want him to have a variety. Would it help his box-anxiety if I let him have it in his area all the time so he could make sure no other bunny is touching it? The first time he did it, my cat was on the bed with us. My cat doesnt care about any of Weston's things (to her they have bunny stink on them and she wont go near them:rollseyes).

I would just let him have his box in his area. He does seem very concerned that other bunnies could come along and take it. Let him have his box and then when it gets tattered replace it. Some bunnies have one thing that they truly love and should be allowed to have 24/7....Muppet loves newspapers so we always make sure there is fresh newspaper for her to drag around.
